In a small town, Ehsan Amadi is intrigued when his elderly neighbor, Phil Stern, hires a permanent live-in caregiver. Phil has Alzheimer’s, and as a friend, Ehsan knows that his decline has been slow, but steady. But, to Ehsan’s surprise, the caregiver turns out to be Phil’s estranged son, Arlen Stern, to whom he hasn’t spoken in eight years.
